Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves de la classe de sciences sociales du 5e secondaire d'Alexandra Woods \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole secondaire pour adultes ont co\u00e9crit une chanson avec Craig Cardiff, nomin\u00e9 aux Juno, et produit un vid\u00e9oclip avec Jesse Card de Jeunesse Ottawa pour sensibiliser \u00e0 l'urgence du logement \u00e0 Ottawa et aux d\u00e9fis auxquels les personnes sont confront\u00e9es en raison des expulsions dues \u00e0 la COVID.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Le projet<\/h3\t\t\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

    La chanson et le vid\u00e9oclip ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9s dans le cadre d'une vaste campagne de sensibilisation sociale qui comprenait un volet sur les m\u00e9dias sociaux, la distribution de masques \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 de la rue par le biais du programme de sensibilisation de l'Arm\u00e9e du Salut et le lobbying aupr\u00e8s des gouvernements municipal et provincial pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 l'urgence du logement \u00e0 Ottawa. Cette campagne a notamment donn\u00e9 lieu \u00e0 des conversations avec des repr\u00e9sentants politiques \u00e0 Ottawa, dont Catherine Mckenney, conseill\u00e8re du quartier Somerset et Joel Harden, d\u00e9put\u00e9 provincial d'Ottawa-Centre. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t

    Le 29 janvier marque le premier anniversaire de la d\u00e9claration d'urgence en mati\u00e8re de logement par le Conseil municipal d'Ottawa. Le clip et la chanson sont l'hymne d'un rassemblement virtuel organis\u00e9 le vendredi 29 janvier 2021 par l'Alliance pour mettre fin \u00e0 l\u2019itin\u00e9rance pour marquer cette journ\u00e9e.
