Jeunesse Ottawa est fier d'organiser son premier concours Maire d'un jour avec le nouveau maire Mark Sutcliffe, en collaboration avec le <\/span>Ville d\u2019Ottawa<\/span><\/a> et le <\/span>Comit\u00e9 d\u2019engagement jeunesse d\u2019Ottawa<\/span><\/a> (OYEC)!<\/span><\/p>

Nous avons ramen\u00e9 le concours en 2022 apr\u00e8s que la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 l'ait mis en pause en 2020 et 2021 et avons travaill\u00e9 dur pour le ramener cette ann\u00e9e !\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Les candidatures \u00e9taient ouvertes pour tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves du secondaire d'Ottawa de la 9e \u00e0 la 12e ann\u00e9e du 25 f\u00e9vrier au 25 mars.<\/span><\/p>

Le 11 avril, OYEC et le bureau du maire ont finalis\u00e9 nos deux gagnants : Shanaz Sabir de St. Francis Xavier et Anya Watson de Nepean High School.\u00a0<\/p>

Shanaz Sabir aime les communaut\u00e9s soud\u00e9es d'Ottawa. Ses id\u00e9es pour am\u00e9liorer la ville incluent la promotion d'initiatives vertes encourageantes ; l'\u00e9nergie renouvelable, la r\u00e9duction des d\u00e9chets, le transport durable et le soutien aux petites entreprises.<\/p>

Anya Watson croit qu'Ottawa est une ville pleine de vie et qu'elle devrait \u00eatre un mod\u00e8le pour le reste du Canada. Elle souhaite qu'Ottawa offre aux jeunes davantage d'occasions de profiter du plein air et qu'il actualise les r\u00e8glements de zonage pour r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts d'infrastructure, revitaliser les quartiers et r\u00e9duire les probl\u00e8mes environnementaux.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Le concours Maire d\u2019un jour est une occasion unique et int\u00e9ressante d\u2019engagement civique pour les jeunes de notre ville. Les \u00e9tudiants du secondaire entre la 9e et 12e ann\u00e9e sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 soumettre un applications expliquant leur vision pour la ville d\u2019Ottawa au cours des cinquante prochaines ann\u00e9es, pour courir la chance de passer une journ\u00e9e avec le nouveau maire Mark Sutcliffe!<\/span><\/p>

Le concours Maire d\u2019un jour a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9 par le Comit\u00e9 d\u2019engagement jeunesse d\u2019Ottawa en collaboration avec la Ville d\u2019Ottawa et le bureau du maire Mark Sutcliffe afin de promouvoir l\u2019engagement des jeunes en mati\u00e8re de politiques municipales et d\u2019enjeux citoyens.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
